When Robert Mondavi founded his winery in 1966, his vision was to create exceptional wines that would stand among the world’s finest. He believed that great wines should reflect their origins and so he chose the To Kalon Vineyard for his winery home. This first-growth quality vineyard, located in Napa’s Oakville District, is renowned for producing some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon wines in the world. Mr. Mondavi crafted his signature wine Fumé Blanc from To Kalon’s expressive Sauvignon Blanc offerings.

Today, the winery continues to pursue Robert Mondavi’s philosophy that the path to a gracious lifestyle is discovered through an appreciation of wine, food and art. Robert Mondavi Winery was one of the first wineries to offer tours and tastings to the public and we have added culinary and art programs to complete our repertoire . Our celebrated visitor programs reflect Mr. Mondavi’s passion for wine education. We offer a variety of experiences for all wine lovers - from the novice to the most discriminating connoisseur.
