I just spent an incredible day on the Flavors of West Marin adventure. Our fantastic host, Elizabeth, led us on an amazing journey filled with food, wine and history, set against the pastoral backdrop of West Marin. This is a great and different way to experience the Bay Area – grab some friends and make it happen!

We had such a good time on the peddle paddle activity. It was fun to ride bikes and stop to do wine tasting. The wineries we stopped at were smaller ones. One was reasonable priced and the other was more expensive. The bike ride was mostly on flat bike paths except for one small hill but I enjoyed it and I’m not a fitness buff. After our bike ride we stopped for a picnic. The food was very good (salads, deli nests and cheeses, fresh breads, fruits) and there was plenty of it. After lunch we rode to another winery and then went kayaking for about 5 miles. It was a great day. We did the Sonoma county tour but the Napa one would have been great too.

Amazing adventure. Our guide was fantastic. She made the trip so enjoyable. I loved the kayaking. I had never kayaked prior to this trip. It was the perfect ending to a perfect vacation.

There’s just something about riding a bike through Napa Valley vineyards that makes you… happy. On a whim my girlfriend and I decided to spend the day doing a Sip-n-Cycle trip with Getaways Adventures in Napa, and it turned out to be our favorite experience of our entire trip to Napa Valley. It was a gorgeous day to be riding a bike among the green vineyards, and the wineries our guide took us to were fantastic. We not only tasting amazing wines, we also learned about wines, vines, and the winemaking process. But the best part was the huge lunch spread we feasted on in the middle of the vineyard, all arranged by our friendly guide. Thank you NapaValley.com for turning us on to this fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

The Napa Valley Wine Yacht is one of the most relaxing ways to experience the Napa Valley, and definitely the most unique. A leisurely cruise aboard the very comfortable 50-foot catamaran allowed us to experience views and Napa history that can only be seen from the water. In addition, we tasted and learned about the tremendous wines from Herb Lamb Vineyards alongside a beautifully catered meal of braised short ribs and wild mushroom risotto by Tarla Grill. The yacht was very spacious and with a limit of only 12 people on board, there is plenty of room to spread out on the bow, stern or relax in the cabin. You can even sit up with the captain and get the view from above! If you want to experience the world renowned food, wine and beauty that Napa Valley offers in a relaxed, intimate setting, a cruise aboard the Napa Valley Wine Yacht is perfect!

What a great time we had! The team who took our group out is very professional and hospitable. We had a great time. We have been to Napa many times, but this was a new perspective. The wine was great, the views are beautiful and we will do it again.

Our group of colleagues were looking for a few activities in wine country. We had several meetings and events over 3 days, but the most popular was our trip on the wine yacht. It was relaxing and easy. Our group showed up and everything was ready for us: food, wine, views and information about the Napa River.
