Hennessey House is an elegant 10 room Victorian home located on 0.5 acre in historic downtown Napa. We are at the top of Main Street’s restaurant row, walking distance to top-notch downtown eateries , the Napa Valley Wine Train, Oxbow Market, Napa Riverfront, Uptown Theatre, Napa Opera House, and downtown wine tasting rooms.The Napa Valley vineyards and wineries are just minutes away by car.

All six guestrooms in our Main House and all four Carriage House rooms are uniquely appointed with a period flair. All rooms have private bathrooms with marble floors. Several rooms have fireplaces, and all Carriage House rooms have two person whirlpools tubs with shower. Complimentary parking is available for all guests in our private off street parking lot.Free wifi is available throughout the property.

Hennessey House does not charge resort fees. Our guests may enjoy an array of complimentary services including a full homemade breakfast served daily. Unlike many establishments who offer a standard breakfast buffet each morning, Hennessey House offers a different breakfast menu each morning. Stay with us seven days and you will experience a different breakfast each morning prepared from scratch by owner Lorri Walsh or one of our wonderful innkeepers.Some or our guest’s favorite Main Courses include Crepes Florentine with asparagus in an orange butter sauce, Tarragon leek eggs with garden seasoned potatoes, and our special Decadent French Toast with crispy bacon or breakfast sausage. Breakfast options for vegetarian, gluten free, or other special diets are available upon request. Enjoy your breakfast in our unique dining room with original hardwood floor and stunning hand painted stamped tin ceiling.

In addition to a full homemade breakfast, freshly baked goodies from the Hennessey House kitchen are available on our sideboard each afternoon. Indulge in earl grey tea butter, cookies, lemon bars, or freshly baked brownies. Lorri has been known to provide samples straight from the oven if you happen to be checking in when she is baking. In the evening, wine and cheese may be enjoyed on our relaxing tree shaded patio with bubbling fountain.

Hennessey House offers a full range of complimentary concierge services, including restaurant and winery reservations, wine tour reservations, and itinerary planning. Whether you prefer to complete a full itinerary for your stay, or just need a few suggestions for your day, our friendly staff will be happy to help.
